Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Kerala solicits applications for the post of Managing Directors for Public Sector Undertakings in Chemical, Engineering, Electronics, and Traditional Sectors. The Companies are categorized under A, B, C and D Schedules.

Qualification and Experience:
- The candidate should have graduation in Engineering or Post Graduation in Business Administration with good academic record from a recognized university/institution..
- He/She should have at least 15 years post qualification experience of which 5 years has to be at senior levels with independent charge of a reputed organization or a division of a large company.
- Applicants familiar with Finance, Marketing and production functions of companies in the respective sectors will have an added advantage.
- Preferred age: 45-55 years
- Remuneration : All inclusive remuneration would be between Rs. 56, 000 – Rs. 1, 12, 500 based on the schedule of the company in which selected applicants are appointed
Terms of Appointment: Initially on contract for a period of three years. The term could be extended further based on evaluation of performance and mutual consent.
