Applications are invited for following positions in the prescribed format:

1. Deputy Registrar (One Post)
Pay Band-3: Rs. 15600-39100 Grade Pay: Rs. 6600
Age: 45 years
Minimum and Desirable qualifications:
(i)    Masters Degree in Commerce/Financial Management or equivalent in finance with consistently good academic record.
(ii)    At least 3 years experience in the Finance/Accounts including Establishment matters in Central Govt./Autonomous organization or Academic Research Institutes in supervisory capacity for 3 years with grade pay Rs. 5400/- or for 5 years with grade pay Rs. 4800/-. The individual should have experience, in dealing with Annual Budget/expenditure control/, Annual Accounts/Auditing & Audit report, purchase cases, civil construction bills/contract management, pension matters and all other contingent and misc. cases etc.
(iii)    The candidates should possess necessary skills & experience of finance and Accounts work in computerized environment with knowledge of Tally/Accounts related software.
(iv)    The preference will be given to experienced SAS passed candidates.

2. Engineer 'B' (Optics/Instrumentation) (One Post)
Pay Band-3: Rs. 15600-39100 Grade Pay: Rs. 5400
Age: 35 years
Minimum and Desirable qualifications:
1.     50% Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology in electrical/ electronics/ optics/ instrumentation/ computer/ information technology/mechanical
OR
First class Master degree in Physics followed by M.Tech./M.E. in electronics/ optics/I nstrumentation.
2.  One year experience in optical instrumentation.
3. Expertise in computer programming/ soft wares.
Desirable: Knowledge of astronomical instrumentation.

3. Engineering Assistant 'A' (One Post)
Pay Band-1: Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay: Rs. 2400
Age: 35 years
Minimum and Desirable qualifications:
Essential: ITI trade certificate in turning from a reputed Institute.
Experience: Minimum 5 years industrial experience in CNC/Conventional turning of high precision jobs with knowledge of inspection and quality control of manufactured components.
