ICRISAT is seeking an innovative, dynamic and creative Director, who is capable of interfacing important functions of public awareness, marketing, and information & knowledge sharing.
The Position: Director, Strategic Marketing and Communication
The Director, Strategic Marketing and Communication (SMC) will report to the Director General, and will be based at ICRISAT’s Headquarters in Patancheru, near Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. The position is for an initial three-year period with the opportunity for renewal based on performance and availability of funding.
The Person
A relevant master’s degree(s) preferably a PhD in the functions of strategic marketing and communication with 5-8 years relevant experience in international organizations at top management level, with demonstrated leadership qualities and track record in handling these two important functions.
Proven record in dealing with global media and commercial communication skills.
Excellent written and oral skills in English.
