Recruitment of Faculty / Scientific Staff / Researchers

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals with a proven track record in teaching, research and development for Faculty in the following areas:
(i) Renewable energy policy, economics and financing
(ii) Solar thermal power plant design, performance, simulation and optimization
(iii) Optical materials, coatings, solar mirror manufacture and characterization
(iv) Solar refrigeration and air-conditioning technologies
(v) Smart and micro-grids
(vi) Low cost electronic access device design and testing
(vii) System on a chip and allied VLSI design
(viii) Information and communication technology in Health
(ix) Wireless sensor networks
(x) Smart mobility (such as electric, hybrid and solar vehicles)
(xi) Smart homes and health monitoring of buildings
(xii) Studies in Public Policy for ICT

Associate Professor
Ph.D. degree in relevant specialization cited above and first class at the preceding degree with consistently good academic record throughout.
At least 6 years of industrial / research / teaching experience of which atleast three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor, Senior Scientific Officer/ Senior Design Engineer

Assistant Professor
Ph.D. degree in relevant specialization cited above and first class at the preceding degree with consistently good academic record throughout.
At least 3 years of industrial / research / teaching experience excluding however, the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.
Candidates preferably should be below 35 years of age

Note: Those who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and having experience less than 3 years may also apply. They may
be considered for Assistant Professor on contractual basis.

Project Officer
Masters degree in engineering disciplines relevant to the specializations cited above with consistently good academic record
throughout.
At least ten years of Industrial/ Research experience. Candidates preferably should be below 35 years of age.

Associate Project Officer
Masters degree in engineering disciplines relevant to the specializations cited above with consistently good academic record
throughout.
At least six years of Industrial/ Research experience. Candidates preferably should be below 30 years of age

Assistant Project Officer
Masters degree in engineering disciplines relevant to the specializations cited above with consistently good academic record
throughout.
At least three years of Industrial/ Research experience. Candidates preferably should be below 30 years of age

Project Officer Consolidated Pay Rs.70,000 per month
Associate Project Officer Consolidated Pay Rs.50,000 per month
Assistant Project Officer Consolidated Pay Rs.35,000 per month
