BEL has 9 manufacturing units across India, specializing in the areas of Military Communication, Radars, Sonars, Naval Systems, Telecom and Broadcast, Electronic Warfare, Tank Electronics, Opto Electronics, Electronic Voting Machines, Professional Electronic Components and Solar Photovoltaic systems. BEL requires the following experienced Engineering professionals (B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent) having domain expertise in Development & Engineering for its Military Communication Equipment SBU of BANGALORE Complex:

QUALIFICATION:
Engineering Degree holders (BE/B.Tech or Equivalent) in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Telecommunication and Mechanical disciplines with FIRST CLASS for General Candidates and Pass class for SC/ST/PWD, from AICTE approved Colleges / recognized Universities may apply for the above posts. Engineering Degree holders in other disciplines
need not apply.

EXPERIENCE:
I. Post of Manager / DGM (Electronics)
Candidates should have worked on and should be able to guide a team in some of the following
areas :
1. Tactical Networked Radios with ECCM features
2. NMS, IP based communication, wireless communication protocols
3. Design and development of RF Modules
4. Data communication and Networking
5. MANET, WI-MAX, IP Radios, SDR, SCA Architecture
6. Network Security, Access Control, Authentication and its Implementation.
7. Operating Systems- embedded OS, Linux & RTOs.
8. Microwave network planning
9. Experience in conducting user trials, environmental evaluations, EMI / EMC evaluation of radios systems.

II. Post of Deputy Manager (Electronics)
Candidates should have experience in some of following areas:
a) WLAN, 48 Port Layer 3 switch, Media converter, Access dongle, Server Management and sizing.
b) Operations of Network Systems, Compression and WAN acceleration technologies etc.
c) NMS and IP based communication, Network time protocol, rubidium and cesium time accuracy standards.
d) MANET, WI-MAX, IP Radios, SDR.
e) Network Security, Access Control, Authentication and its implementation.
f) Operating Systems- embedded OS, Linux & RTOs.

III. Post of DE / SE (Electronics)
Candidates should have worked in and should be knowledgeable in some of the following areas:
1. Design of embedded systems
2. RF Subsystems viz. Synthesisers, Power Amplifiers
3. Signal processing, Networking
4. IP protocols, baseband H/W, FPGAs
5. Operating Systems- embedded OS viz. Linux, QNX

IV. Post of DE / SE (Mechanical)
Candidates should have worked in and should be knowledgeable in some of the following areas :
1. Industrial product design skills in electronics packaging for military environment with emphasis on ruggedness, Compactness and ergonomics
2. 3D modeling and drafting skill using Pro / Engineer, Inventor, Solid works AutoCAD etc.,
3. Structural and thermal analysis skills as applicable to electronics industry. Experience in any of the following software packages is desirable: ANSYS, NASTRAN, CF Design, Icepack, flow therm etc.
4. Exposure to ERP and PLM software’s like SAP R/3, WILNDCHILL etc .
