Applications are invited for the three posts of Joint Secretaries (on deputation basis) for UGC Regional Offices at WRO-Pune, CRO-Bhopal & NERO-Guwahati in the scale of pay of PB-4 of Rs.37400-67000 + Rs. 8,700/- (Grade Pay) (plus usual allowances, as admissible to University Grants Commission employees).

Scale of pay of PB-4 of Rs.37400-67000 + Rs. 8,700/-

1 Eligibility Officers holding posts analogous to those in the scale of pay of Rs.3700-125-4700-150-5000 (pre-revised) (PB-4 Rs. 37400-67000 +Rs. 7,600/- (Grade Pay) from the Central and State Governments, Universities and other Autonomous Organizations, having five years service in that grade and experience of educational administration (period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 5 years).
2 Essential
a) First or Second class Master’s Degree or a Professional Degree.
b) About 10 years experience of Teaching/Research or Educational Administration
3 Desirable Doctorate in any discipline or a Master’s degree in any professional subject.
4 Age 50 years (relaxable by 5 years for employees of Central and State Governments Universities and autonomous bodies.

The persons so appointed will be eligible to CGHS facility and residential accommodation and other facilities as available to other employees of the University Grants Commission.

No Objection Certificate from the present employer must be submitted. The consent to allow the period of deputation/contract from the present employer be also submitted. The University Grants Commission reserves its right to make the selection or not to fill up the post and the decision of the Commission in this regard shall be final.
