Applications are invited from eligible persons to be appointed as Non- official Member against the vacancies in Maintenance Tribunal and Nine proposed Appellate 1 ribunals under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007 and the Delhi. Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules 2009. The Maintenance Tribunals are presided by the area ADMs and ihe Appellate Tribunals are presided by the Dy. Commissioner of Revenue Districts and shall consist of two other Non official Members, of whom one shall be a woman.
Terms and Conditions
1) The Non-official Member shall be paid an Honorarium as decided by the Government from time to time.
2) The tenure of the Non- official member shall be for a period of three years from the date of joining the office or up to the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
3) The State Government has the power to terminate the services of any Non- official member at any point of time in accordance with the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007and the Rules framed there- under.

Eligibility Criteria for Non -Official Member of Appellate Tribunal:
A person to be selected as Non official Member of the Appellate Tribunal-
1) Should be not less than 50 years of age or more than 65 years of age;
2) Should possess a Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University in Social Work Sociology/ Anthropolugy / Gerontology;
3) Should be a person of ability. Integrity and Standing and should have adequate Knowledge and Experience of at least 15 years of working with an organization engaged in the welfare of Senior Citizens in the areas of Health. Woman Empowerment and Social
Welfare;
4) Should be a Resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for not less than three years;
Eligibility Criteria for Non -Official Member of Maintenance Tribunal
A person to be selected as Non official Member of the Maintenance Tribunal
1) Should be not less than 35 years of age or more than 65 years of age;
2) Should possess a Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University;
3) Should be a person of ability. Integrity and Standing and should have adequate Knowledge and Experience of at least 10 years of working with an organization engaged in the welfare of Senior Citi7ens in the areas of Health. Woman Empowerment and Social Welfare;
4) Should be a Resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for not less than three years;
