Sr. Law Officer / Manager (Legal) (1 No.)
Eligibility Qualification :
The candidate should preferably have 1st class degree (60% marks or more) in law (LLB) from colleges approved by Bar Council of India. Candidates with above degrees obtained through Distance Education Programme or through correspondence will not be eligible. For candidates possessing qualification as Masters in Law, minimum eligibility condition of marks shall be 50% in both LLB and LLM. The candidate should have consistently good academic record in secondary to graduation level examinations.
Experience:
For E3 Grade: (32900-3%-58000/-) At least 11 yrs of practice / employment in the legal profession. Candidates with experience of private practice / Solicitor Law Firms should have practised independently for at least 5 yrs in a court of law out of the total 11 yrs or more of experience in legal profession. Experience as Law Officer in a company would be considered with companies having at least 10 yrs of incorporation and business turn over of more than Rs. 100 crore during at least three financial yrs from F.Y. 2005-06 to 2009-10.

B/ For E4 Grade: (36600-3%-6200/-)
At least 15 yrs of practice / employment in the legal profession. Candidates with experience of private practice / Solicitor Law Firms should have practised independently for at least 8 yrs in a court of law out of the total 15 yrs. or more of experience in legal profession. Experience as Law Officer in a company would be considered with companies having at least 10 yrs of incorporation and business turn over of more than Rs. 100 crore during at least three financial yrs from F.Y. 2005-06 to 2009-10.
In case of experience of employment with a Public Sector Undertaking, at least four years of the total prescribed experience should have been in the next lower grade, i.e. in E3 grade (present scale of Rs. 32900-3%-58000/- pre-revised scale of Rs. 16000-400-20800/-)
Age of Candidates to be considered for the post of Sr. Law Officer ( in E3 Grade ) should be in the bracket of 33 to 38 years , and that for those to be considered for the post of Manager (Legal) in E-4 grade should be between 38 to 43 years , to be reckoned as on 30.06.2010.
