Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET), a premier Govt. of India National Institution devoted to Academic, Technology & Research programmes in the field of Plastics Engineering, is having 15 extension centres with state of art infrastructural facilities in the areas of CAD/CAM/CAE, Tooling & Mould Manufacturing, Plastics processing, Testing and Quality Control. CIPET offers a blend of specialized Academic programmes in the field of Plastics Engineering & Technology and provide technical support to Plastics & Allied Industries. In line with vision stated under National Policy on Petrochemicals , CIPET has setup Tool Rooms with State of Art CNC Machineries, latest Metrological equipments which are supported with the CAD/CAM & FEA Software for their Product Development Activities. A dedicated R&D wing, (ARSTPS) is established to offer high end solutions for complex & critical engineering problems through a team of Scientists specialized in the field of Automotive, Consumer Products, Health care, Heavy Engineering & Telecom.
