The Government of the NCT of Delhi is seeking to select a Vice Chancellor for the Delhi Technological University that was established under Act 6 of 2009. The following categories of persons are eligible to apply for the post:
(1)    Professors in Engineering, Science & Technology. Management and allied areas with a minimum of 10 years experience in the post of Professor.
(2)    Scholars of eminence in the fields mentioned at (1) above (Bhatnagar Award Winners, recipients of other National Awards) and
(3)    Persons with vast experience in administration, particularly those who may have worked in the public/ private sectors and who have contributed in the fields of Science/ Technology/ Management.

Applicants may submit their applications in a sealed envelope along with photo copies of all supporting documents and one colour passport size photograph. The applicants should clearly mention their achievements in academia, research or administration and a brief vision statement for theDTU.
Last date of receipt of application is 15.06.2014. Eligibility: Persons of the highest level of competence, integrity, morals and institutional commitment are to be appointed as Vice-Chancellors. Persons with distinguished academic background, with a minimum of ten years of experience as Professor in a University system or ten years experience in an equivalent position in a reputed research and / or academic administrative organization, may apply.
Separate application for each University, with detailed bio-data in the prescribed proforma as annexed, highlighting achievements, academic and administrative experience, may be sent within (20) days from the date of notification (22.7.2011) by registered post.
