PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur (IIITDMJ) is the first Institute established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India in the year 2005 with focus on IT enabled design and manufacturing. It is an autonomous institute under the Central Government and was conferred with the Deemed to be University status by Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2009. The Institute admits students based on AIEEE score for its B.Tech. programme. The Institute also has a Japanese collaboration under India-Japan cooperation for a global partnership. The Government of Japan has constituted a Consortium with twelve partners for the development of the Institute in the area of design and manufacturing. These partners include six universities and six industries of Japan

 The Institute invites applications from highly qualified and strongly motivated candidates for faculty positions at the level of Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor in the disciplines of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Design, Electronics & Communication Engineering(ECE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), English, Mathematics and Physics.

Qualification and experience:

Ph.D. degree with First Class or equivalent (in terms of grade etc.) at the preceding degree and having a consistently good academic record.
Professor:
A minimum of ten years of teaching/ research/ professional experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or at equivalent level in a research organization or industry as on the date of application. The candidate should have demonstrated leadership in research /development in a specific area of specialization in terms of strong record of publications in reputed journals and conference proceedings, patents, laboratory/ course development, guidance of Master and Ph.D. students and/ or other recognized relevant professional activities.

Associate Professor:
A minimum of six years of teaching/ research/ professional experience ( excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.) of which atleast 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor, Senior Scientific Officer / Senior Design Engineer in a research organization or industry as on the date of application. The candidate should have demonstrated adequate experience of independent research in terms of publications in reputed journals and conference proceedings, patents, laboratory / course development, guidance of Master and Ph.D. students and / or other recognized relevant professional activities.

Assistant Professor:
A minimum of three years teaching / research/ professional experience excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. Candidate should have demonstrated research and development capabilities in terms of publications in reputed journals and conference proceedings/ patents etc. *Candidates not having requisite experience /qualifications (Ph.D. thesis submitted or likely to submit in near future) may also be considered for appointment on a lower academic grade pay.

The Institute is now looking for suitable person for the post of Placement-Cum-Public Relation Officer (Unreserved) on regular/ contractual/ deputation basis. The responsibility of the job will include liaisoning with industries/ government organization/ media/ companies in India/ abroad for the possible placement/ internship of the student of the Institute and branding the Institute in corporate world. The job will involve extensive travel to different organizations. Besides these responsibilities any other work may also be assigned by the competent authority as per the need of the Institute at any time.

Pay-scale: PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100 + GP: Rs. 5400/- (Total emoluments – Rs. 36,970/- per month approximately)
Age limit for post is less than or equal to 45 years.
Qualification/ Experience: Essential: MBA/ Post Graduate degree in Human Resource Management/ Mass Communication or equivalent with at least 55% marks from a reputed institute/ university with at least 4 years (post educational qualification) of work experience in an organization / PSU/ company/ industry of repute.
