Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor: Ph.D. with 60% marks or equivalent in post graduation/graduation in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. An outstanding professional, working in industry with established reputation and having made significant contribution to knowledge but not having a Ph.D. degree, could also be considered in exceptional case.
Experience:
Professor - Minimum 10 years in Teaching/Research/Industry experience at appropriate level of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent and should have good research publications. Experience of supervising research is essential.
Associate Professor - Minimum 8 years Teaching/Research/Industry experience at appropriate level of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent and should also have good research publications. Experience of supervising research is desirable.
Assistant Professor - Minimum 03 year Teaching/Research/Industry experience good research publications are essential.
Pay Scales:
Professor - PB-4(37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 10500/-PM) Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 48,000 Plus AGP
Associate Professor - PB-4(37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 9500/-PM) Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 42,800 Plus AGP
Assistant Professor - PB-3(15600-39100 with AGP of Rs. 8000/-PM) Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 30,000 Plus AGP
