Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET), is a Premier National Institution devoted to Academic, Technology Support & Research (ATR) activities for the plastics & allied industries in the country. CIPET operates on hub & spokes model at 22 locations having 4 High Learning Centres, 12 Conventional Centres , 4 Specialised units and 2 R&D units spread across the country significantly contributing through ATR concept to the industries in India and abroad. All CIPET Centres have uniform infrastructural facilities in the areas of Design, CAD/CAM/CAE, Tooling & Mould Manufacturing, Plastics processing, Testing and Quality control to cater the needs of plastics & allied industries in the country.
