Name of Job: Research Associate
Job Profile
1) Undertake research and consulting assignments focusing on policy issues in the energy sector and their impact on domestic and global energy security, energy regulation and pricing, demand and supply management, geopolitics and energy trade, and energy infrastructure development
2) Organize and coordinate policy discussion forums and stakeholder workshops on topical issues under the purview of energy security
3) Develop research proposals under the guidance of the Area Convenor and Director
Qualifications
MA/M Phil (Economics);MBE; or Masters in energy planning/ energy economics/resource development
Skills
Understanding of micro and macro economics; relevant knowledge of or experience in the energy sector, preferably with a focus on oil, natural gas and coal
