Recruitment Against Cultural and Scouts & Guides Quota
Applications are invited to fill up vacancies in Pay Band-1 of Rs.5.200-20.200
with Grade Pay ol Rs. 1.900/- in Southern Railway  as detailed below.

Cultural    1 post - Vocalist (Light Music) Mate/Female
                1 post - Instrumentalist -(Tabla/Guitar/Key Board /Flute/Violin/ Rhythm Pad)

Scouts & Guides    02 (Two)   
Qualification for Cultural Quota
Candidates should possess Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Music from Government recognised Institute.

Qualifications for Scouts & Guides Quota
(a) A President's Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover (or) Himalayan Wood Badge Holder (or) A pre-HWB trained Scout Leader/Advanced Trained Guider / Leader / Captain
(b) Should have been an active member of a Scouts organisation for at least 3 (three) years in recent past and should continue to be active; @
(c) Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State Level; (or)
Should have a good record of participation in Scouts/Guides at Unit/ District level
Explanatory Note:
@ At least three years in the recent past i e during 2007-08. 2008-09, 2009-10 and should continue to be active. i. e during 2010-11 (till date).
Age Limit (As on 01.01.2011)
UR: 18 to 30years; OBC : 18 to 33years; SC/ST: 18 to 35years

Tentative date of Written Examination: 27.02.2011
