1. Principal Research Scientist (one position): Equivalent to Professor grade in IITs/IISc. Pay Scale PB4(Rs.37,400 – 67,000), with minimum basic at Rs. 48,000 and AGP of Rs. 10,500.  Gross emoluments at the starting point of pay scale are at Rs. 1,05,575.
Essential Qualifications:
i) Ph.D degree in Maths/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics.
ii) At least 5 years experience in Cryptology, Cryptography, Cryptanalysis and Applications with special emphasis on knowledge of existing SAT solvers and their possible applications OR  Design of Stream and Block Ciphers OR Development of fast algorithms and their implementation   OR  Design of secret sharing schemes.
Desirable Qualifications : Quality research publications  

2. Senior Research Scientist (Gde – I), one position:
Equivalent to Associate Professor grade in IITs / IISc.  Pay Scale PB4(Rs. 37,400-67,000).  Gross emoluments at the starting point of pay scale are Rs. 89,495.
i) Ph.D degree in Maths/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics.
ii) At least 3 years experience in Cryptology, Cryptography, Cryptanalysis and Applications with special emphasis on knowledge of existing SAT solvers and their possible applications OR  Design of Stream and Block Ciphers   OR Development of fast algorithms and their implementation   OR  Design of secret sharing schemes.
Desirable Qualifications : Quality research publications  

3. Senior Research Scientist (Gde – II), one position:
Equivalent to Assistant Professor grade in IITs/IISc, Pay Scale PB3(Rs.15,600 – 39,100).  Gross emoluments at the starting of the pay scale are Rs. 65,900 per month.
i) Ph.D degree in Maths/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics.
Desirable Qualifications : Quality research publications  

4. Research Associate, two positions : gross emoluments at Rs. 29,900/- per month.
Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Maths/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics with specialization in any one of the areas connected to Cryptology, Cryptography, Cryptanalysis and Applications.

5. Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
four Positions:  gross emoluments at Rs. 26,000 per month.
Educational Qualifications :
i) M.Tech/M.E. degree in Electronics or Computer Science with working knowledge in cryptology, cryptography, cryptanalysis and applications.
NOTE:
i) In case adequate number of suitable M.Tech/M.E candidates are not  identified, candidates having B.Tech degree in ECE or CSE specialization  may be considered for the post of Junior Research Fellow.  Gross  emoluments for the post are Rs. 20,800.  Hence, candidates  with B.Tech  degree in ECE or CSE also may apply for the post.
ii) Candidates selected for the posts of SRF and JRF can register for Ph.D and
M.S (by research) degree respectively with the UOH, IIIT(H) etc., subject to the fulfilment of necessary requirements laid down by them.
