The Delhi College of Engineering has been reconstituted as Delhi Technological University through the Act of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. It is a non-affiliating university to promote teaching and research, technology incubation, product innovations and extension work science and technology and management education. The university is committed to achieve excellence in higher technical education and other academic matters. After reconstitution of DCE as DTU, the university has created an engineering cell to look after the maintenance work of the existing infrastructure (civil engineering & electrical engineering) and also to develop infrastructure for the proposed academic expansion. The university invites applications to fill up the followings posts either by transfer on deputation or on contract basis.

Executive Engineer (Civil) 01

Rs. 15,600-39,100 Grade Pay Rs. 6600

Consolidated salary for contract appointment: Rs. 45,000/-

Essential qualification

Educational/Professional qualification: High second class Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate Branch of Engineering/ Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.

Experience: Eight years of professional experience in Supervisory capacity for execution of projects in the appropriate Branch out of which at least six years must be as Assistant Engineer.

OR

Second Class Master’s Degree in appropriate Branch of Engineering/ Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute Experience

Seven years experience in design and execution of construction projects out of which at least four years must be as Assistant Engineer

Asstt Engineer (Civil/Elect) 02 (1 each for Civil & Elec)

Rs. 9,300-34,800 Grade Pay Rs.  4600

Consolidated salary for contract appointment: Rs. 30,000/-

Essential qualification:

Educational/Professional qualification: Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.

Experience:

Three years regular service in the grade of Section officer/ Supervisor / Overseer / Junior Engineer  in projects In the appropriate field

OR

Diploma from recognized board/ University in appropriate branch of  Engineering Experience Seven years regular service in the grade of Section Officer/ Overseer / Junior Engineer in appropriate branch of  engineering

OR

Master’s Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering with experience of  three years in the appropriate field

Jr. Engineer (Civil/Elect) 02 (1 each for Civil & Elec)

Rs. 9,300-34,800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200

Consolidated salary for contract appointment: Rs. 23,000/-

Essential qualification:

Degree in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized university or equivalent with one year experience in appropriate branch of engineering.

OR Diploma in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized Board/ University with 3 years experience in appropriate field.
