Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology Campus, Port Blair, A & N Islands proposes to appoint Assistant Professors purely on contract in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mathematics on a consolidated pay of `43,000/- per month for the courses offered at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Pahargaon, Port Blair. The details, eligibility criteria and application format are as detailed below:

1. Asst. Professors

• Computer - 2 posts
• Electronics - 2 posts
• Civil - 1 post

Essential: BE / B.Tech and ME / M.Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent either in BE / B.Tech or ME / M.Tech.

2. Asst. Professors

• Mathematics - 1 post
• Physics - 1 post
• Chemistry - 1 post
• English - 1 post

Essential: Good Academic record with atleast 55% marks OR an equivalent CGPA at the Master’s degree level, in the relevant subject from an Indian University OR an equivalent degree from Foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualification, candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC
OR
Good Academic record with atleast 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at the Master’s level and Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject.
