Recruitment of Research Scientists and Junior Research Fellows under DST scheme for Open Technology and CAD Activities in National Informatics Centre.

Recruitment for the following posts

• Research Scientist Grade-II

Pay Scale Rs. 15,600-39,100 with GP of Rs. 6,600
Age Limit: 35 years
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a qualification of B.E/B.Tech in Engineering discipline OR MCA OR MSc (Computer-Science/ IT / Software-Engineering/Electronics and Communications)
OR
Minimum of 2 year of relevant experience with a qualification of M.Tech / ME in Engineering discipline.

• Research Scientist Grade-I

Pay Scale Rs. 15,600-39,100 with GP of Rs. 5,400
Age Limit: 30 years
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience with a qualification of B.E/B.Tech in Engineering discipline OR MCA OR MSc (Computer-Science /IT / Software-Engineering/Electronics and Communications)
OR
Fresh Candidates with a qualification of M.Tech/ ME in Engineering discipline.

• Junior Research Fellow (OTC) & (CAD)

Rs. 16,000+ HRA
Age Limit: 30 years
OTC - Fresh Candidates with a qualification of B.E/B.Tech in Engineering discipline OR MCA OR MSc (Computer-Science /IT / Software-Engineering/Electronics and Communications).

• Candidates should also have GATE or NET Qualification.
• Candidates should have awareness/knowledge on Open Source/Open Standard.
• Candidates who have done Student Projects based on Open Source/Open Standard will be given preference.
• CAD (Development) - Fresh Candidates with a qualification of B.E/B.Tech in Engineering discipline OR MCA OR MSc (Computer-Science/IT/Software-Engineering/Electronics and Communications).
• Candidates should also have GATE or NET Qualification.
• Candidates should have awareness/knowledge of Geometry for Software Development.
• Candidates who have done Student Projects based on CAD Software Development using Java/ Java 3D / C++ will be given preference.
• CAD (Modeling) - Fresh Candidates with a qualification of B.E/B.Tech in Engineering (Mechanical related areas).
• Candidates should also have GATE or NET Qualification.
• Candidates should have awareness/knowledge of CAD Modeling. Candidates who have done Student Projects based on CAD / CAM /PLM Software will be given preference.
