IGNOU’s School of Sciences is launching Master’s Degree Programme in Life Science on campus, in face to face mode and applications are invited from Indian citizen on a plain paper giving full bio-data for the following post on contract basis for a period of six months.
1. Laboratory Attendant
Qualification / Experience: Essential:Matriculation with science
Desirable:Some laboratory experience
2. Laboratory Assistant
Qualification / Experience Essential:Plus Two with science having Biology / Life Science as one of the subjects.
Desirable : Some experience of working in a Life Science / Biology laboratory of a college / university department.
3. Technical Assistant
Qualification / Experience Essential: A Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University with 5 years experience in Life Sciences / Bio-sciences/ Zoology/ Botany/ Biochemistry/Biotech Laboratory OR Bachelor’s degree in science with two years experience in Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Zoology /Botany/ Biotech Laboratory.
Desirable: Experience of handling and maintaining equipments and preparing solutions and stains. Expertise in maintaining live plants, animals and microbial. Ability in receipt, issue, accounting and documentation of equipments and chemicals in University / Govt./ Autonomous organization / Public or Private sector undertaking.
4. Store- In charge
Qualification / Experience Essential: A Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University with 5 years experience in Life Sciences / Biosciences / Zoology / Botany / Biochemistry / Biotech Laboratory OR Bachelor’s degree in science with 2 years experience in Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Zoology / Botany/ Biotech Laboratory.
Desirable : Experience in receipt, issue, accounting and documentation of stores in University / Govt./ Autonomous organization / Public or Private sector undertaking.
Knowledge and experience in stores preservation and in fire prevention and safety measures.
