A walk-in-interview will be held at Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, at R. B. Road, Telibagh, Lucknow, an Institute under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), for selection of Research Assistant/Senior Research Fellow/Research Associate as per details given below:

1.	UPCST Project entitled, "Genetic Transformation of Guava for Wilt Resistance". F. No. 1-1(94)/Estt N.B. Onlv Indian Citizens who are resident of Uttar Pradesh are eligible. Date : 30-08-2010 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards	Research Assistant (One)	Essential: Master's degree in Biotechnology/Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. Desirable : Experience on genetic transformation and tissue culture will be preferred. NET cleared candidates will be given preference.
2.	ICAR Networking Project on "Transgenic in Crops". F. No. 1-1(60)/Estt. Date : 30-08-2010 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards	Senior Research Fellow (One)	Essential: Master's degree in Biotechnology/Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. Desirable : Experience on genetic transformation and tissue culture. NET cleared candidates will be given preference.
3.	ICAR Project on "Application of Micro-Organisms in Agriculture and Allied Sectors". F. No. 1-1(66)/Estt. Date : 30-08-2010 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards	Senior Research Fellow (One)	Essential: Master degree in Agriculture Microbiology/ Agriculture Biochemistry/Ciotechnology with minimum 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. Desirable : Working knowledge of fermentation technology. Protein Purification techniques, enzyme characterization. NET cleared candidates will be given preference.
4.	"Outreach project on Phytophthora, Fusariutn and Ralstonia Diseases of Horticultural &  Rield Crops". F. No. 1-1(88)/Estt. Date : 30-08-2010 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards	Senior Research Fellow (One)	Essential: Master's   degree in Plant Pathology/Biotechnology/Lite Sciences Botany with minimum 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. Desirable : Working experience on subtropical fruit crop with special reference to fungal diseases. NET cleared candidates will be given preference.
5.	NAIP sub project on "A Value chain on mango and guava for domestic and export markets". F. No. 1-1(86)/Estt Date : 31-08-2010 Time: 10-30 a.m. onwards	Senior Research Fellow (One)	Essential: M.Sc. (Ag.) Horticulture with minimum 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. Desirable : Working experience on different windows operating system and MS office. NET cleared candidates will be given preference.
6.	Network project on "Assessment of render issues and identification and refinement    of   selected women specific technologies in horticulture crops". F. No. 1-1(83)/Estt. Date : 31-08-2010 Time: 10-30 a.m. onwards	Senior Research Fellow (One)	Essential: M.Sc. (Ag.) Horticulture with minimum 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. 7.	NAIP   subproject   on "Mobilizing mass media support for sharing agro- information" (Component-I). F. No. 1-1(90)/Estt. Date : 31-08-2010 Time : 10-30 a.m. onwards	Research Associate (One)	Essential: Master's   Degree   in   Mass Media/Journalism/ Mass Communication/ Media  Studies  with   minimum 60% marks from recognized university as regular student Minimum   two   years   experience   in   a reputed publication/ media house/News Agency/Production House as evident by published papers in magazines and leading newspapers or telecast/broad cast stories. Desirable : Proficiency in spoken and written English and/or Hindi with experience of using Media related softwares.
