Name of Post: Dean of Agricultural Engineering & Technology
Qualifications Essential :
a) A Ph.D. Degree or equivalent degree in any branch of Agricultural Engineering & Technology.
b) A minimum of five years of experience as Professor or its equivalent cadre in any Agricultural University / ICAR Institutions
c) Significant professional achievement in his / her filed of specialization by activity.
Desirable :
a) A Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering.
b) Experience of Teaching Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate students in the course – credit system.
c) Knowledge and experience of organizing and administering educational programmes.
Scale of Pay : Revised UGC Scales in pay band of Rs. 37400 – 67000+ AGP 10000
The term of appointment is for a period of 5 years or till incumbent attains the age of 60 years, whichever is earlier.
