a) Candidate should be graduate from recognized University in Science (with Physics as one of the subjects), technology or engineering or holds a recognized diploma in engineering; However, candidates who have appeared for the qualifying degree, up to the last date of receipt of applications may also apply, provided they show proof of having appeared in qualifying degree examination. Such candidates will be required to show proof of their having passed the exam before their selection. and
b) should have passed Punjabi subject upto Matric standard. However in the case of Ex-servicemen, riot victim persons or members of a family of a person killed as a result of terrorist action in the State; the person if selected will have to pass Punjabi of Matriculation standard within six months from the date of joining the service, if they do not possess it already.
