2. The Candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (N.E.T) conducted by the U.G.C, C.S.I.R or similar test accredited by the U.G.C.
( Note: Candidates having Ph.D degree in the subject concerned are exempted from N.E.T)

b) Reader:
Good academic record with a Doctoral degree or equivalent published work. In addition to this, candidates who joined from outside the University system shall also possess at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the seven point scale latter grades O, A, B, C, D, E and F at masters degree level. 5 years of experience of teaching and /or research excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degrees and has made some mark in the areas of scholarship as evidenced by quality of publications, contribution to educational innovation, design of new courses and curricula.
