Walk-in-written test and interview will be held on 22nd & 23rd November, 2010 for candidates from Indian Nationals to the following posts, which are purely on temporary and contract basis, will be for the duration of the project, based on the performance. These selections will be under Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (TKDL)-Yoga, a collaborative project of Department of AYUSH and Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi.

1. Yoga Expert (Analysis & Monitoring): 1 Post
Qualification Ph.D in Yoga, preferably in the discipline of Sankhya Yoga Desirable Good working proficiency in English language
Job Requirement: To carry out search and examination of different international patent databases and analyze with respect to Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (TKDL) and other related jobs.
Age Limit Not more than 40 years as on the date of written test.
Consolidated Stipend: Rs. 35,000/ pm

2. Sanskrit Expert (Analysis & Monitoring): 1 Post
Qualification Ph.D in Sanskrit, preferably in the discipline of Darshan
Desirable Good working proficiency in English language
Job Requirement: To carry out search and examination of different international patent databases and analyze with respect to Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (TKDL) and other related jobs
Age Limit Not more than 40 years as on the date of written test
Consolidated Stipend: : Rs. 35,000/ pm

3. Project Assistant (Sr.) Information Technology: 2 Posts
Qualification and Experience: M.Sc./ BE/ B.Tech./ MCA or equivalent with 65% marks and having one year of experience after qualifying degree in Java, Oracle, Security Technology in particular Application Development.
OR
M. Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology, with 65% marks, having one Year of Experience
Job Requirement: Work related to Traditional Knowledge Digital Library Project
Age Limit Not more than 35 years as on the date of written test.
Consolidated Stipend Rs. 25,000/ pm

4. Junior Yoga Experts: 2 Posts
Qualification BNYS degree/ Regular full time M.A/ M. Sc. (Yoga), from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks.
Job Requirement: Work related to Traditional Knowledge Digital Library Yoga Project
Age Limit Not more than 30 years as on the date of the written test
Consolidated Stipend: Rs. 18,000/pm

5. Junior English Experts: 2 posts
Qualification 1. First class masters degree in English from a recognized University/College.
2. Knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to 10th standard.
Job Requirement: Work Related To Traditional Knowledge Digital Library – Yoga Project
Age Limit Not more than 30 years on the date of the written test.

Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) is a Joint Venture Company of 4 Central Public Sector Undertakings of Ministry of Power, Government of India - NTPC Limited, Powergrid Corporation of India Limited, Power Finance Corporation and Rural Electrification Corporation. It was formed to lead the market development and implementation functions of the National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE) which seeks to unlock the energy efficiency market of Rs. 74,000 crores.

Deliverables by The Experts

•    Coordination and monitoring of baseline energy audit conducted by consultants in Designated Consumers
•    Technical evaluation of baseline energy audit reports and preparation of summary reports for onward submission to BEE
•    Participate and interact in the regional/ national level workshops, meetings and capacity building programs, as and when required.
•    Interact with individual units in private and public sector to facilitate the baseline energy audit work.
•    Any other specific responsibility pertaining to the sectors as would be required by BEE/ EESL from time to time.

Thermal Power Plant
Should have working knowledge of Power plant process and evaluation of Energy Efficiency measures in Coal Handling plant, Coal Mills, Boiler and auxiliaries, Turbine, Gas Turbine, Waste Heat Boiler, Condenser, Ash Handling system, Cooling Tower, ESP, Auxiliary power reduction in all electrical driven equipments.

Cement Industry
Should have detailed knowledge about cement manufacturing process and Energy Efficient Technologies in related areas such as Raw material preparation, pre-calcination / preheaters, Kiln operation, Grate cooler, Co-generation, Cement grinding, Mills and auxiliaries.

Iron & Steel
Should have detailed knowledge about Steel manufacturing sub processes such as properties of iron ore, Coke, Coke Ovens, Blast furnace, Sinter Plant, Steel melting process, Sponge Iron production etc. Evaluation of Energy Efficiency measures in Steel manufacturing process and utilities. Knowledge about Captive Power Plant and efficient utilization of thermal and electrical energy usage is preferred.
