CIRCULAR

The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education is an Autonomous Council of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, with its Institutes/Centres at Dehradun. Jabalpur, Bangalore, Jorhat. Jodhpur, Coimbatore. Shimla, Ranchi, Allahabad, Chhindwara and Hyderabad. There are certain posts in the Council which have been identified / earmarked for appointment of IFS officers on deputation basis at the level of Conservator of Forests (CF) in the pay scale of PB-4 Rs. 37,400-67,000/- with grade pay of Rs.8,900/- and Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF) in the pay scale of PB-4 Rs.37,400-67,000 with grade pay of Rs.8,700/- and PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100 with grade pay of Rs.7,600/- and Rs.6,600/-. The positions vacant at present, as well as those likely to fall vacant by December 2011, in various Institutes/Centres are indicated below.
