Applications in plain paper along with detailed bio-data are invited from eligible candidates to work in an ongoing research project entitled “Studies on anti HIV properties of extracts derived from marine organism” funded by Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES). The eligibility and stipend details are given below.

Duration of the project : 12 Months (likely to be extended based on (for all posts) performance)

SRF Microbiology (1 post)
Essential Qualification for SRF : M.Sc., degree in Microbiology or any branch of (1 post) life sciences. Two years of research experience.
Desirable Qualification for SRF : Experience in handling cell lines, Virology, Immunology and Molecular biology Techniques
Fellowship : Rs. 14,000 p.m (Consolidated)

Lab Technicians (2 posts) : Essential Qualification for : B.Sc., MLT / B.Sc. or H.Sc, with DMLT Lab Technicians (2 posts)
Desirable Qualification for : Two years experience in Microbiology. Lab Technicians laboratory, handling cell lines, Immunoassays,
animal handling
Salary : Rs. 6,000 p.m (Consolidated)

Lab attender (1 post): Essential Qualification for : 10th STD
Desirable Qualification for : one year experience Lab attender (1 post)
Salary : Rs. 3,000 p.m (Consolidated)
Note: This project is approved for one year and likely to be extended based on performance. All eligible SRF and lab personnel will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
