National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur invites applications from Indian nationals possessing excellent academic background and commitment to quality teaching for the post of Asstt. Professor (On Contract basis) and Lecturer (On Contract basis) for the maximum period of 3 (three) years to be renewed annually for the following departments only:

(i) Department of Computer Applications
(ii) Chemistry
(iii) Humanities (English)

(i) Department: Computer Applications
(a) Post: Asstt. Professor (On Contract)
Minimum Essential Qualification: MCA with First class or equivalent with two years’ experience.
Remuneration: Rs.33,000/- pm (Consolidated)
(b) Post: Lecturer (On Contract)
Minimum Essential Qualification: MCA with First class or equivalent
Remuneration: Rs.30,000/- pm (Consolidated)

(ii) Department:  Humanities (English)
(a) Post: Asstt. Professor: (On Contract)
Minimum Essential Qualification: M.Phil / NET with First class Master’s degree in
English.
Remuneration: Rs.33,000/- pm (Consolidated)
(b) Post: Lecturer (On Contract)
Minimum Essential Qualification: First class Master’s Degree in English.
Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- pm (Consolidated)

(iii) Department:  Chemistry
(a) Post: Asstt. Professor (On Contract)
Minimum essential Qualification: M.Phil / NET with First class Master’s Degree in Chemistry
Remuneration: Rs.33,000/- pm (Consolidated)

(b) Post: Lecturer (On Contract)
Minimum Essential Qualification: First class Master’s Degree in Chemistry
Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- pm (Consolidated)
