Name of Project: NAIP Project entitled "Genetic basis of interior sperm quality and fertility of crossbred bulls" The appointments are purely temporary on contractual basis (initially for one year extendable up to 31" March, 2012) and there will be no provision of absorption/re-employment in the PDC/ ICAR after termination of the project.

1. Research Associate - One post
Essential  Qualification Ph.D. degree in Animal Genetics/Animal Biotechnology/Animal Biochemistry/ Life Sciences; Or Masters  Degree in Animal Getics/Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Biochemistry/Life Sciences  with  one-two years research experience as Research associate/ Senior Research Fellow/ Junior Research Fellow.
Desirable: Experience of working in molecular biology/cell culture and gene expression studies.   
Emoluments: Rs.18,000/-per month plus HRA as admissible for Ph.D.holders; Rs. 17.000/-per month plus HRA as admissible for Master Degree holders.    Age: 40 years (relaxation in age as per GOI/ICAR norms).

2. Senior Research Fellow - One
Essential Qualification: Masters Degree in Animal Genetics/ Animal Biotechnology /Animal Biochemistry/ Life Sciences. Desirable: Experience of working in molecular biology
Emoluments:Rs. 12,000/-per month plus HRA as admissible under the rules.
Age: 35 years (relaxation in age as per GOI/ICAR norms)
