Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer Gr. III (Mechanical), Junior Engineer Gr. III (Electrical), Khalasee (Mechanical Workshop) / Non-MOHP and Khalasee (Electrical Section) / Non-MOHP in Mechanical Engineering Department of Mormugao Port Trust, Headland, Sada, Goa – 403 804.

Name of the Post: Junior Engineer Gr. III (Mechanical) - 3 (2 UR, 1 ST)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 13600-32400
Age : 35 years as on 01/08/2010.
Educational Qualification
1] Degree with minimum 60% marks in Mechanical Engg./ Shipbuilding/ Material handling / Production / Automobile from a
recognised University,
OR
2] (a) Diploma (3 yrs. course) from a recognised Institution, with minimum 60% marks in Mechanical Engg./Shipbuilding/Material
handling/ Production/ Automobile,
(b) Not less than 3 yrs. Exp. after acquiring the Diploma.
3) All candidates are required to Pass a Written Exam.

Name of the Post: Junior Engineer Gr. III (Electrical)- 4 (3 UR, 1 OBC)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 13600-32400
Age : 35 years as on 01/08/2010.
Educational Qualification
1) Degree with minimum 60% marks in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognised University.
OR
2)(a) Diploma (3 yrs. course) from a recognised Institution, with minimum 60% marks in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
(b) Not less than 3 yrs. Exp. after acquiring the Diploma.
3) All candidates are required to Pass a Written Exam.

Name of the Post: Khalasee (Mechanical Workshop) / NON-MOHP - 2 (1 UR, 1 OBC)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 7800-15800
Age : 30 years as on 01/08/2010.
Educational Qualification:
1) ITI in any Mechanical trade with min. VIIIth Std. passed.
2) All candidates are required to pass PHYSICAL ABILITY TEST i.e. Ability to carry 50 kgs. cover weight. Good physique for carrying out manual work.
3) Those candidates who pass PHYSICAL ABILITY TEST are required to Pass a Written Exam.

Name of the Post: Khalasee (Electrical Section) / NON-MOHP - 2 UR
Scale of Pay : Rs. 7800-15800
Age : 30 years as on 01/08/2010.
Educational Qualification:
1) ITI in any Electrical trade with min. VIIIth Std. passed.
2) All candidates are required to pass PHYSICAL ABILITY TEST i.e. Ability to carry 50 kgs. cover weight. Good physique for carrying out manual work.
3) Those candidates who pass PHYSICAL ABILITY TEST are required to Pass a Written Exam.
