The Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi intends to recruit JRF and SRF in following projects purely on contractual basis.

Name of project and P.I.: “Tagging gene(s) for resistance to rust in lentil” (DST Funded) P.I. Dr. H.K. Dikshit, Senior Scientist.

Name of post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - One vacancy
Emoluments (fixed) PM: Rs. 16000/- + HRA
Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Genetics and/ or Plant Breeding/ Molecular Biology and/ or Biotechnology and NET qualified.
Desirable: Research experience in crops and molecular marker analysis.

Name of project and P.I.: “Strengthening molecular breeding in lentil, Brassica and hybrid rice and hybrid wheat” (11th Plan) P.I. Dr. K.V. Prabhu, Head

Name of post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - One
Emoluments (fixed) PM: Rs. 12000/- plus HRA
Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Genetics and/ or Plant Breeding/ Molecular Biology and/ or Biotechnology
Desirable: Research experience in crops and molecular marker analysis.

Age limit: Maximum age 28 years for JRF and 35 years for SRF (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).

Walk-in-Interview: 06th September 2010 at 10.00 A.M.

The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 06th September 2010 at 10.00 A.M. in the chamber of Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012. The candidates will have to bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, attested photocopies of all the certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview
